Quite a few strong teams will be going head to head in the World Cup qualifying matches with all the big stars taking a break from their club duties to feature for their countries.
One of the most anticipated of the matches will be the one between Chile and Argentina.
Now that Lionel Messi is back in, the Argentina line up has simply got one notch stronger.
In the absence of the Talisman, they were a far lesser team in their previous qualifiers and got challenged by teams like Ecuador and Paraguay.
Their results in the qualifiers so far include two defeats, two draws and a narrow win against Colombia.
If solely one sees those results, it’s obvious to say Chile has an edge over Argentina right now as they have been superior in comparison up to this stage and are also the hosts for this fixture
However, with the Messi factor coming into play now, it changes the equation
The Chile camp though does not look that worried or feared regarding facing an Argentinean side which has got a player of such sort of status in it.
According to their shot stopper, Claudio Bravo, it’s about respecting each and every opposition team rather than a certain team which is having a legendary player. So, Chile approaches all the games with similar attitude.
Speaking in front of the media gathering, Bravo, for whom the Argentina game will be the 100th one in Chile shirt, said, “Every opposition should be treated with same degree of respect and that’s what we do.”
“We are yearning for points from all the matches. I think representing Chile every single time gives us a huge sense of pride and that itself is a bigger driving factor than anything else.”
